The Staff at the Country Inn Restaurant & Lounge came together with a vision to resurrect a landmark along 460 West in Blackstone, Virginia that will provide premiere dining and entertainment to the Blackstone communityand surrounding areas..
Clinton "Warren" Jones is the Owner and General Manager of the Country Inn Restaurant & Lounge. He is a native of Ford, Virginia in Dinwiddie County. He is the primary decision maker for all aspects of the restaurant. His main focus is to provide a venue for good food, good conversation, and a place that Blackstone can be proud to call its own. He is also committed to providing a weekend entertainment venue for the adults in the area and surrounding communities. He has great plans for the Country Inn to include parties, facility rentals, and live entertainment including stand-up comedy in the upcoming months.
James "Tuck" Wilson serves the restaurant as the Operations Manager. James is also a Ford, Virginia (Dinwiddie County) resident, who provided the inspiration to open the Country Inn. As a former restaurant owner, he brings experience from his old place of business. He was an avid night spot peruser of clubs in surrounding communities, and has plans to implement all the things that works from those experiences at the Country Inn.
Patricia "Pat" Smith brings more than 25 years of financial expertise to the Country Inn Restaurant and Lounge and a lifetime of cooking experience learned from her grandmother, mother, other family and friends. She is a native of Mathews County, Virginia, but a resident of Richmond, Virginia since 1984. Her primary function for the Country Inn is Financial Operations Manager. She also presently serves as Marketing, Reservations, Dining Room/Catering Operations, and Entertainment Manager. She plans the meals for the restaurant as well as cooks in the evenings on Friday, Saturday, and the Sunday dinners.
Tammy Knight has joined the staff of the Country Inn as Cook, Monday through Saturday for the lunchtime and early afternoon customers. Tammy is a native of New Mexico, and now a resident of Blackstone, Virginia and brings a wealth of kitchen management experience to the Country Inn. She formerly managed the 2349 Cafe and Lounge, at Fort Pickett.
